BIRTHDAY '16
It is October already. Birth month. New age. New chapter yet to be unfold. New discoveries. New journey.
It was the first day of October. I was sick. I was in the city alone and I never knew if I could ever celebrate my natal day.
Before the day of my birthday, my aunt called. She said that she and together with my mom and my other 'mama' which was my other aunt (I called her mama) will gonna came and visit me the next day. They even didn't mention about my special day and thought maybe either they will going to surprise me or worse they forgot.
2nd day of October. They really visited me with a very big surprise.
My aunt bought me a cake with my favorite flavor. My mom and my mama cooked me my favorite food, which are the cheesy spaghetti, sausages and adobo. They even added to cook some pancit canton and coconut salad.
Although they prepared a little but these are too much for us and it was worth full for our stomachs.
Before we indulged to the things they prepared, they took me some lovely photos.
After, we did some wacky poses each by each.
We were about to take these meals when one from our close family called (family that were mentioned from "The Forest Camp" post). She said that they would like us with them for lunch since they were also celebrating the birthday of one from her children which was also my close friend since his birthday was on October 1st.
This was another grateful surprise for me so we never miss the chance and said yes to them.
So, we agreed to meet them in KOGI-Q at SM Seaside, Cebu City.
What I admired about this restaurant is that this derives from a Korean restaurant which offers an all-you-can eat and all-you-can-cook experience. Kogi Q's all-you-can-eat comes with unlimited rice and bottomless iced tea too. It is worth the pay when you're foodie hungry as ever. Also, you will enjoy grilling.
After our sumptuous meal, we were invited to 'Lava by Fudge' with the close fam to have some little sweet in our belly. It was an awesome to have a dessert in order to cap our heavy lunch.
As we got inside the shop, we ordered wide array of dessert innovations which included the Lava cakes like the Original Lava Cake, Chocolate Chip Lava Cake, some Trifle cakes and chocolate cakes.
The food at Lava by Fudge were reasonably priced and it gave me a delightful experience. Lava by Fudge is a good place for a joy in the mouth to have one's teeth to be sweeten and the Instagram fanatics to check out. A #foodpornworthy place.
I enjoyed so much even though I was sick that time. I was thankful to my aunt, my mom and my mama even it was long way ride still they able to visit and celebrate my birthday. Also, to the ever close fam for every worth-memorable invitations. With you all, it was indeed a perfect special day.
