'5 REASONS TO VISIT CAFE TIALA'

It was then after I and my friends were attending a Press Conference in Lahug. After our lunch, one of us suggested to try this coffee shop: Cafe Tiala. I heard the name before but I never ever visited the place. I do not went to any coffee shops in Cebu, nor go out of my own to visit newly opened ones. I tried to went at Starbucks but it was just only once. Also, I didn’t even know Korean coffee shops were a thing. I’m more like an instant 3-in-1 coffee on-the-go type of person. I am just so lucky to have friends who know new places though, especially coffee shops, thus I get the chance to visit places like this.

Since we didn't do anything that time, we instantly agreed and walked from JY Mall (since we ate our lunch there) to reach to the said coffee shop.

Cafe Tiala is located along Archbishop Reyes Avenue, at the second floor of The Forum Building, next to Cebu Grand Convention. It is a few distances away from Ayala Center.

Whoever said we can never be royals? Well, I’ll tell you a little discovery I made. Here are the following 5 reasons why to visit this stupendous coffee shop.

1. Cafe Tiala will treat you like a royalty.

Cafe Tiala offers a new concept cafe where waitresses dress like maids, and treat their guests like majesties. Choose to be seated in one of ten private rooms or walk up to the 2nd level and be social with fellow nobles. Also, each room is uniquely decorated – dainty wall decorations, pink and flowery throw pillows, chandeliers – wow classy!

2. Cafe Tiala has a one-of-a-kind service.

Cafe Tiala has a unique service style. I like how they combined entertainment and relaxation and cuteness into one. I learned from one of the friendly waitresses that costumers are free to use the PS3 and Wifi owned by the cafe. For K-Pop lovers, one of the cubicles has a television that plays K-Pop music videos. They also have tiaras and tutus and onesies that customers can borrow. I personally like creative cafes where you can squat, hug a pillow or teddy bear and enjoy good drinks with friends.

3. Feel in love with the pricey foods.

Cafe Tiala’s menu offers a wide selection of drinks from iced coffees to teas, smoothies to lattes. They also have some Korean snack favorites which only available from 99Php to 200Php. Here’s a tip! If you order Php 300 for single receipt, you get a free cup of coffee and a platter of bread and jam. The price for food and drinks at Café Tiala are very reasonable.

4. Café Tiala has brought royalty in their name and ambiance.

As mentioned, the inside is literally painted pink. There are small rooms for private settings and a more spacious open area on the second floor. It definitely is like a dollhouse to me. All are pretty much happy and accommodating. Again, everything here is almost pink and girly. I hope the guys don’t mind that much.

5. Cafe Tiala is very way accesible.

Café Tiala is located at Unit 2-D 2nd Floor, Forum building, Archbishop Reyes Avenue Cebu City. The building is right beside the old Grand Convention centre. Jeepney routes going towards Ayala Center Cebu are your best bets if you’re not familiar with the area, so skip the taxi and save your money. Parking spaces are also available. Café Tiala is a very neat and dainty place fit for a royalty.
